Woods September 13, 1853, and had born to them the following children: Thompson P., William W., Maggie, Lummie (who was married to A. R. Pritchett), John W. and Eddie L. Mrs. E. H. (Woods) Davis died May 8, 1876, and William G. August 16, 1879. In August, 1881, WIlliam W. and John W. Davis formed a copartnership under the firm name of WIlliam W. and Bro., for the cultivation of 250 acres in Midway Precinct, Woodford County, in which they have been successful, and they are also engaged in the raising of all kinds of live stock, and the herding of horses and mules.
