ARNETT is a native of Woodford County, Ky., and was born March 30, 1833, a son of Sandridge and Mary (White) Arnett, natives of Jessamine and Fayette Counties, and of Virginia descent. Our subject began the plastering trade at the age of eighteen and followed it until 1861. In December, 1861, he married Mrs. Mary E. Willis Brown, a daughter of Brice Willis. One child has been born to their union, Julia A. Sceare. Mr. Arnett owns fifty acres of land and his wife fifty-five acres.
