GEORGE WRIGHT was a member of Smiths Grove church, and as a 
distinguished and popular citizen of Warren county.  He served eight 
years in the Kentucky Senate.  He was elected Clerk of Green River 
Association, in 1846, and served in that capacity, with the exception of 
one year, till his death, which occurred about 1883.
