In 1884 he began clerking in the store of James Lucas, in this city, and in February, 1885, he engaged in his present business with Mr. Aspley. He is an earnest member of the Democratic party. Messrs. Aspley & Bailey keep in stock at all times a most comlete line of heavy and fancy groceries and feed. Their place of business (143 and 144 Main Street) is one of the choicest locations in Bowling Green, and is especially adapted to the grocery and feed trade.
