NELSON C. ALSPAUGH was an acceptable preacher in South District and 

Tates Creek Associations, about 20 years.  He was raised up to the 

ministry at Forks of Dix River church, where he was ordained in 1847.  

He moved to Indiana, about 1858, and was still preaching, when last 

heard from.
