MRS. LOIS BRYAN ADAMS
Was for only three years, 1849-52, a resident of Kentucky.  She was a
native of Moscow, N. Y., born Oct. 14, 1817; removed to Michigan, married
an editor, and thenceforth was a regular contributor to the newspaper and
periodical literature of Michigan and New York City. [Note: Poem shown:
"Hoeing Corn."]
