THOMAS BEAZLEY, Trenton, Ky., is a native of Christian County, Ky., where
he was born June 20, 1839, and in early childhood removed to Todd County,
where he has since resided.  He is the son of James Beazley, who was born
in Virginia in 1782; served as a soldier in the war of 1812, and died in
1841.  His wife, Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas McDugal, was born in
Virginia in 1801, and died in 1867.  To them were born, Mary J. (Talley),
Elizabeth, Margaret (Campbell), John our subject, who was married May 7,
1878, to Miss Georgia A., daughter of James F. and Mary C. (Chiles) Tutt,
of Todd County, and to this union was born one child--James Thomas--March
17, 1879.  Mr. Beazley is a farmer, owning 413 acres of good and valuable
land in a high state of cultivation.  He is a giant in stature, standing
fully six feet in height, with an avoirdupois of 417, and gaining, making
him the largest man in Todd County, if not the heaviest in Kentucky.  Mr.
Beazley is jolly, social, intelligent and hospitable, and quite active
for one of his great weight.
