MULLIN, a native of Pendleton County, Ky., was born March 27, 1847, and is a son of James K. and Mary M. (Anderson) Mullin. James K. Mullin was born in Campbell County, Va., in June, 1818, but is now a farmer of Pendleton County, Ky. Mrs. Mary M. Mullin was born in 1827. Benjamin M. Mullin was educated in his native county, and remained on the home farm until his marriage in 1870, to Miss Mary Yelton, a daughter of R. T. Yelton. To this marriage have been born six children: Flora Eunice, in 1871; Minnie H., in 1873; Luella, in 1876; James R., in 1880; Ralph W., in 1883, and Horby R., in 1885. Mr. Mullin has served as magistrate for four years, and as deputy sheriff the same length of time. He has a tobacco warehouse at Mossville, which he established in 1878, and also has a farm of 120 acres in Pendleton County.
