Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 7th ed., Pendleton Co. HENRY H. BULLOCK was born in Boone County, Ky., September 7, 1824. His father, Davis Bullock, a native of Kentucky, was born in 1795, and was a farmer and trader; he died in 1845, leaving a widow who still survives at the age of ninety-five. The great grandparents of our subject came from New York to Kentucky at any early day, and settled in Boone County, where they bought a tract of 3,000 acres of land and engaged in farming and stock raising. Henry H. Bullock left Boone County at the age of ten years, and lived in Kenton County, Ky., until the age of nineteen, when he moved to Pendleton County. In 1846 he married Miss Frances M. Mullens, daughter of Richard Mullens, of Grass Creek, Pendleton Co., Ky. After his marriage Mr. Bullock engaged in farming until 1851, when he entered the mercantile business in Falmouth, which he pursued for four years, after which he engaged in general trading. In 1870 he became interested in the tobacco business, in which he is still engaged in connection with general trading. He is the father of nine children: Missouri A., Rebecca M., Catherine C., Rachael M., Alice, Fanny, Cora L., Belle and Sallie. Mr. Bullock owns large tracts of land in Pendleton and the adjoining counties, which he devotes to raising stock and tobacco. He is a prominent member of the Masonic fraternity, and politically is a Democrat. Bullock Mullens = Boone Kenton http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kybiog/pendleton/bullock.hh.txt
