RICHARD A. PRIEST, farmer and stock-grower, was born where he now resides,
near Goshen, Oldham Co., Ky., December 2, 1831, and is the second of seven
children born to Fielding and Betsy (Trigg) Priest, the former also a
native of Oldham County.  Richard A. Priest was reared a farmer, has
followed that vocation, and now owns a fine farm of 160 acres.  On March
15, 1852, he married Miss Whitman, and there have been born to him four
children, viz: Edward A., Cerdelia Isabell, Ida M. and Mattie.  Mr. Priest
has been a member of the Christian Church thirty years, and of this church
his wife and family are also members.  In politics he is a Democrat.
