BROTHER SIMPSON KEOWN, who became a member in 1838, was licensed to preach by
the Church on May 3, 1845; but, on the following December 6th, he was
excluded for having united with the "Reformers" or "Campbellites", as they
were popularly known.  He must have recanted his action, and returned to
the Church; because, on August 20, 1853, he was again excluded for
returning to the "Reformers."
