By permission of author. Ohio County. BROTHER JAMES HUDSON was licensed to preach by the Green River Church on June 5, 1841. He was never ordained to the Ministry, as far as the record shows; and, he was excluded from the Church's fellowship on March 15, 1851, for "haven drank intoxicating liquers to an access." Upon repentence and confession of wrong, he was restored to the fellowship of the Church later, and died in April, 1862, during the Civil War. He had joined the Church in 1838.
