FEEBACK, farmer, P. O. Bartersville, was born in Nicholas County, Aug. 3, 1829, his father, Gilbert Feeback was born in Nicholas County in 1802, and died in 1878; he was in the war of 1812, and his brother, Mathew, in the Mexican war; the mother of John T. Feeback was Millie Richey, born in Nicholas County in 1807 and died March 1879; she was the mother of fourteen children, the subject being the third son; he was educated in the common schools of Nicholas County, and is a farmer; he was married Aug. 2, 1848 to Rachel Baker who was born in Nicholas County, Sept. 3, 1833; she was the daughter of John Baker of Bourbon, and Lucy McDaniel of Nicholas County; they have five children: Isaac, Mary J. James, Green and Lucy; they are both members of the Methodist Church; he is a Mason at Carlisle and a Republican.
