Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 5th ed., 1887, Jessamine Co. GREEN B. HILL, born July 31, 1840, is the eldest son of Emiline Hill, and came to Jessamine County when quite a child with his mother. He was born in Madison County, was reared on a farm in Jessamine County, and has farmed all his life. He was married, April 14, 1862, to Hannah Hill of Madison County, Ky., a daughter of George and Kate (Willey) Hill, both born in Madison County, Ky., and both deceased. Three children have blessed this union, one living, Leanna, who is married to Linsey Stinnett, and has one child, Luvena Stinnett, born March 6, 1882. Mrs. Emiline Hill died November 28, 1886, a strict member of the Christian CHurch. Mr. and Mrs. Green B. Hill and their daughter are members of the same church. Mr. Hill is a Master Mason and belongs to Ion Lodge, No. 301, at Little Hickman, Jessamine Co., Ky. He is owner of eighty-seven and one-half acres of good farming land eight miles south of Nicholasville, in Sulphur Well District.
