CHARLIE WHITE, the son of Mr. James and Mrs. Mealie White, was born February 24, 1875. He professed hope in Christ in September 1893, and united with the Little Hope Baptist Church. He married Mollie Lee February 27, 1898. To this union five children were born. He is now deacon of the Little Hope Church. His occupation is rock mason and machinist. Mrs. Mollie White, the daughter of Mr. Josh and Mrs. Vina Lee, was born October 5, 1879. She professed hope in Christ in 1893 and joined the Little Woodland Baptist Church. Later she joined the Cowles Chapel Baptist Church when it was organized in 1895 and has been recording secretary of that church twenty-three years and is still serving the church in that capacity. Miss Charline White, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie White, was born May 17, 1900. She attended the common schools and has almost completed the eighth grade. She professed a hope in Christ in 1915 and joined Cowles Chapel Baptist Church. Miss Catherine is a lady of fine talent and a good Sunday school worker and is expecting to be able to enter high school after one more session in the common school.
