Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 7th ed., Harrison Co. W. B. ROBINSON was born in Harrison County, Ky., June 27, 1847, and is a son of R. A. and Candace (Anderson) Robinson. R. A. Robinson, a son of Winslow L. and Catherine (Armstrong) Robinson, natives of Virginia, was a merchant in Scott and Owen Counties, and was magistrate ten years. He died July 3, 1881, a member of the Methodist Church. His wife still survives him. W. B. Robinson was brought up on a farm, educated at Georgetown, Scott Co., Ky., and in 1876 graduated in medicine at the Cincinnati College of Medicine and Surgery, when he located at Corinth. March 13, 1878, he married Emma Williams, daughter of D. W. and Eliza Williams. Three children have been born to them, viz: Orla, born March 19, 1879; David, born June 8, 1881, and Charles, born September 24, 1884. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson are members of the Christian Church.
