Souvenir Edition, The Williamstown Courier, Williamstown, Ky, May 30, 1901, reprinted September 19, 1981 by the Grant County KY Historical Society. W. H. WESTOVER. Out on the Oak Ridge Turnpike road, two miles south of Williamstown, is the farm and home of W. H. Westover. He is the son of Homer Westover, who died in Williamstown in 1888 at the great age of eight-eight. William Westover was born in Pennsylvania and migrated to Kentucky with his father when a mere boy. He was raised on a farm and has been a farmer all his life. He was married to Eliza Jane Page, in April, 1861, and to that union thirteen children were born, all of whom are now living except Alice, the oldest, and Max Carlisle, the next to the youngest. W. H. Westover has all of his life been a Democrat in politics, he is a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church, and for many years has been a deacon. He has given all his numerous family a good education. His wife died in August, two years ago, and is buried in the Williamstown Cemetery.
