CLARK was born on a farm not far from Williamstown, O. [sic], September 6, 1815. In June, 1848, he contacted a marriage with Miss Mary F. Webb. Ten children were born to this union. Nearly all of Mr. Clark's life was spent on a farm, and he lived long enough to see his children reach the period of manhood and womanhood and settle down for life. Early in life Mr. Clark joined the Methodist Church. In politics Mr. Clark was a Democrat, true to the principles of his party, and for many years was an active member of the Masonic Lodge.
