ADAMS, probably the youngest nominee in the state for the onerous office of County Superintendent of Schools is C. C. Adams, of Grant County. He is a son of Robert Adams, of Sherman, and was born in Boone County, May 4, 1877. His father is a farmer, and the son was reared in a manner similar to that of most country boys. His educations was begun in the common schools, and was finished at Lebanon, O., at the national Normal University, at which he graduated at the age of 18. He came home and began teaching, and taught two terms, one at Sherman and one at Crittenden, and was highly successful as an educator. He has later been a student at various business colleges in Cincinnati, and last year was given a state certificate for Kentucky. He is now a student of Cincinnati University, and will shortly graduate in law. In politics he is a Democrat and is now the nominee of that part for Superintendent of Schools in Grant County.
