     Leroy Johnson, M.D., and Elizabeth Grubbs were married in Va. and
emigrated to Franklin, Tenn., thence to Lexington, Ky., where he died in
1843, aged seventy-seven years.  She died in Louisville, Ky., and is
buried at Cave Hill.  There were eight children.  One son, Nelson Cole
Johnson married Fannie Pollard Smith.  Their son, William B. Johnson, now
lives in Missouri.
