Taken from old clippings dealing with Kentucky family history, newspaper unknown. These clippings are about 100 years old (1997). Reprinted in Kentucky Explorer, Volume 12, Number 4 - September, 1997. p. 99. Fayette County. Many of the Graham name live in Kentucky. My great-grandfather, Thomas Graham, was the eighth child of this family of nine chldren, but as no records have been kept by this branch, save the names and dates of birth in the old family Bible, I do not know in what state they were born. The records is as follows: (1) Elizabeth Graham, born July 3, 177; (2) Mary Graham, born April 7, 1774; (3) Levi Graham, born May 14, 1774; (5) Dorcas Graham, born November 7, 1776; (6) Hannah Graham, born April 4, 1778; (7) Cassandra Graham, born June 1, 1779; (8) Thomas Graham, born January 17, 1783; (9) Richard Graham, born June 13, year unknown. Thomas Graham came to Texas from St. Louis, Missouri, about the year 1845. Richard Graham (from an old letter), the youngest child, was living in Mississippi on the Hillborough Road, ten miles east of Brandon, at about the same date. It is particularly of the parents of the family, their dates of birth and avocations that I wish to learn, but any information of the children or any of the family will be thankfully received. My great-grandfather, Thomas Graham, married Elizabeth Dunn in Old Salem, North Carolina, afterward moving to Kentucky with his wife and only child, Beriah, who was my grandfather. Beriah Graham took his medical diploma and earlier education from the old Transylvania University at Lexington. {Note: submitter's name was not shown.] Graham Dunn = TX St._Louis-St._Louis-MO MS NC http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kybiog/fayette/graham.t.txt
