JOHN W. REINHARDT was born in Daviess County, Ky., Dec. 5, 1843, and is 
a son of William and Mary (Straber) Reinhardt, both natives of Germany, 
his father born in 1813 and his mother in 1820.  His father came to 
America in 1839; lived a short time in Louisville, Ky., and then came to 
Owensboro, where he died in 1869.  There were five children in the 
family, all now residents of Owensboro--Elizabeth, now Mrs. J. G. 
Delker; Lucetta, now Mrs. J. W. Bowles; William F., L. H. and John W.  
Mr. Reinhardt is a partner in the firm of Reinhardt & Marks, wholesale 
tobacconists.
