   MRS. SARAH WALKER is one of Crittenden county's oldest citizens.
She reached her 89th birthday May 5, 1928.
   Mrs. Walker, the only living member of a family of 12 children, was
born in 1839 in Christian county.  She has been living in this county
since she was a small child.
   Before her marriage in 1878 to Thos. L. Walker, Mrs. Walker was 
Miss Sarah Milliken.  Mr. Walker died in 1899.  Their only child died
in infancy.
   Mrs. Walker is in good health and is as active as the average woman
of seventy.
