DR. MARION W. STEEN, a native of Adams County, Oh., was born January 27,
1855, and is a son of Alexander B. and Nancy J(McClure) Steen.  Dr. Steen
was reared in his native county and in 1874 began the study of dentistry
with his brother J.A. Steen, of North Liberty, Adams County.  He
subsequently attended the Louisville College of Dentistry, from which
institution he took the degree of D.D.S.  In 1876 he married Miss Emma
Patton, of Adams County, Oh., a daughter of J.E. Patton.  Dr. Steen is one of
the leading business men of Augusta and has the control of the dental trade
of that city.
