County.

William Smith, born January 7, 1775, and his wife, Mary Birans, born July
7, 1777, whom he married November 3, 1801, was of Scotch-English descent
and lived in Frederick, Maryland.  After marriage they moved to Bourbon or
Nicholas County, Kentucky.
