Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 7th ed., 1887, Boone Co. WILLIAM A. PRICE was born in Boone County, Ky., February 24, 1850. He is the third of four children born to Albert and Frances (Southers) Price. William A. Price was brought up on the plantation, and received his education at Bethany, Va., and Eminence, Ky. He has followed agriculture from boyhood, and settled where he now resides, near Florence, Ky., in about 1873, and has 226 acres of land in Kentucky, also real estate in Chicago. He built his present two-story frame residence about 1873. October 19, 1871, he married Annie M. Graves, a daughter of Milton W. and Catherine Graves. To this union three children have been born, viz: Warren, Milton C. and Laurie M. Mr. Price is a member of the Christian Church. Politically he is a Democrat.
