214 I William Ellis of Frankin County Kentucky being of disposing mind and memory, make this my last will and testament as follows. 1st I desire the payment of all just demands immediately my death. 2nd After payment of my debts I will and devise the remainder of my estate real personal and mixed to my wife Nancy Ellis during life.
3rd
At the death of my wife I will and devise to my nephew Benjamin E.
Ellis son of my brother James Ellis the place whereon I now reside containing
twenty eight 4th I further will and devise after the death of my wife that my slave Tabby be liberated and set free from servitude.
5th
I hereby constitute and appoint my wife Executrix of this my will &
desire that no bond or security be required of her. In testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my William Ellis

sealed & delivered in our presence & in the presence of each
other.
