40-41 I William Elliot of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory do constitute and make this my last will and testament. It is my will and desire that after my just debts and Funeral expenses is paid that my estate shall remain in my loving Asia's hands for the purpose of raising and schooling my children and to be subject to any arangement that may hereafter by necessary in disposing of any part of it for my children benefit such arangement to be mad by Lewis Thompson and Chas. Thompson my wifes brothers and Benjamin Eliott my brother by and with the advise and consent of my loving wife Asia and eventually to be equally divided between my children made this 16th day of January 1831.
