72 In the name of God amen, I Thomas Parmer of the county of Franklin and state of Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory, but knowing that it is appointed for all men to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament. I give my soul to God, from whom it came and my Body to the grave and after paying my just debts and funeral expenses my will is that my Executor hereafter named shall let my wife have my land her life, by the name of Marry, and after the death of my wife, that the land shall be sold. And, the money arising from sale of said land shall be equally divided between my tow sons and fore daughters and all my personal estate after the death of my wife to be sold and divided in the manner as the above mentioned land. I do hereby nominate and appoint my son, Ignatius Parmer, and my wife, Mariah Parmer my sole Executor and Executrix. In testimony where of I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal this 3rd day of July 1811.
