George Washington "Wash"
Sudduth, was born about 1814/15 in Woodford County, Kentucky.
He
is believed to be the
eldest son of George and Sarah Pierce Sudduth of Virginia. Wash
married
Elizabeth Pace in Franklin
County, Kentucky on 14, November 1835. The family appears
on
census 1840-1870 in
Franklin County. Children born to this union; Sylvester, 1836; Louisa Ann,
1838; William Harrison,
16 July 1840; Thornton, Jr. , 5 June 1844; Elizabeth, 5 June 1844
(twin);
Attaway, 1846; Washington,
29 August, 1848; male twins 15 August 1853 (dead); Frances"Fanny",
4 May 1856. Several
of these children as well as other family members are buried in the
Sudduth Graveyard, St.
John Road, Franklin County, Kentucky.
