In the name of God amen, I Sarah Brown late wife of Hezekiah Brown decd.. of the County of Franklin & State of Kentucky being of should and disposing but far advanced
in life & knowing the uncertainty of death do hereby make sign & seal this instrument as my last will and testament viz. after expressing a hope and desire that my
heavenly Father will have mercy on my never dying spirit, after its present tabernacle shall be disolved, as to my worldly concerns possessing but a small portion of
its goods, but whatever I have at my death of houses & Kitchen furniture, farming utensils & stock money on hand or debts due, I do hereby give & bequeath to my
son Thomas Long now of Frankfort, I do also bequeath to my said son any lawful claims I may have for Dower which my be unpaid at my Death in a certain tract of
land in Culpepper County Virginia sold by my husband in his life time (to the conveyance of which I never consented) to a certain Robert Latham.  I do also desire
that my said son Thomas Long shall carry this my last will into execution & do hereby appoint him my sole executor for that purpose.  In testimony whereof I have
hitherto set my hand and seal this 26th day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

thereto which is ordered to be certified.

accordingly in my office.
