The identity of Robert Baker is unknown.  He may be a member of the James Baker family of early Franklin County. James Baker and his wife, Peggy Roberts had a grandson, Richard Baker.  Richard Baker and his wife, Ellen Sheets had several sons, one of whom was Robert Baker, born about 1871.  Is this Robert?
