Page 205
I, Nancy Riley, of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being weak in body, but of sound mind and disposing memory and calling to mind the certainty of death and the
uncertainty of life, do make this my last will and testament in words following, viz:
After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I will and bequeath to my two children, Allis and Mariam and my husband John Riley all my estate both real and personal

to be equally divided between them having heretofore given to my daughter, Elizabeth Harrod her portion of my estate.  And lastly, I hereby appoint my husband John Riley,
Executor of this my last will and testament with power to sell my land and divide the proceeds equally between himself and my two children Allis and Marian.
In witness whereof I have set me hand this 24th day of October in the year 1871.

Nancy Riley

Test:
E. S. Bailey
Jacob Polsgrove

Franklin County Court
A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Nancy Riley, deceased was produced in Court and proven by the oath of Jacob Polsgrove a subscribing witness who also

proved the attestation of E. S. Bailey the other subscribing witness thereto whereupon it was ordered that said will be recorded.  And Barnett Harrod appeared in Court and objected
to the probating of said will on the grounds that the said Nancy Riley, deceased had no legal right to make the same.
