In the name of God Amen, I, Martin J. Sebree of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky, being of sound mind and bodily afflicted, knowing that my time here is but
short here on this earth, make this my last will and testament in manner and following. That is to say:
1st.  I devise that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and for which I subject my estate.
2nd. I desire that my executor hereinafter mentioned sell all my land, which I may die seized and possessed, also my personal property.
3rd. It is my desire that the proceeds of my entire estate be equally divided among my five daughters, namely; Martha Ann Head, wife of James Head; Mary Jane Holder,

wife of T.J. Holder; Elizabeth Francis Linn, wife of Madison E. Linn; Amanda Malvina Romans, wife of Eliza Romans and Sarina Catharine Hudson, wife of Fabricus Hudson.
4th. As my daughter, Martha Ann Head has departed this life, her living heirs are to have her part of my estate.
5th. As my daughter, Mary Jane Holder has no bodily heirs and if she never has any heirs at her death the amount she receives from my estate is to fall back to my heirs

and to be equally divided among them or their heirs.
6th. Whatever I have advanced to my children in land or money or any other property I direct shall be charged to them as part of their legacy
7th. I direct whatever my daughter, Amanda Malvina Romans gets of my estate shall be invested in land for the benefit of her and her heirs.
8th. I direct whatever my daughter, Sarina Catharine Hudson receives of my estate be invested in land for the benefit of her and her heirs.
9th. I hereby appoint Madison E. Linn my executor. I hear by revoke all other or former wills by me made. Witness my name and seal this 9th of March 1871.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Martin J. Sebree was produced in Court and proven by oaths of Samuel Poindexter and John A. Carter the subscribing

witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. Which is done.
