In the name of God Amen: I Mary J. Holder of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being of sound mind, but bodily affliction; do make this my last
will and testimony in manner and form namely;
1st. I will my sole to god who gave it and my body to the earth from whence it came.
2nd.  I will and bequeath to Molly Holder, One hundred dollars ($100) and direct my executor herein after named to pay over said sum to C. G. Hockensmith

for her benefit to be used by him for cloths and medicine as he in his judgment thinks she needs it.
3rd. I direct my executor to pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses including a suitable set of tombstones to be placed at my grave.
4th.  I will and bequeath to Anny Gatewood, daughter of J. W. Gatewood my bed and all of its furniture to be left in the hands of Reane Hudson until such times

as she is capable of taking care of same.  I will and bequeath to Harrison E. Lynn, son of M. E. Lynn, Fifty dollars to be paid out of the effects of my estate as
soon as their is sufficient money in my executors hands.
5th I direct my executor to pay to F. M. Hudson and wife are as usual compensation for their trouble in taking care of me during my last illness.
6th I direct my executor to sell off of the property that I own at the time of my death, both personal and real, at such times and on such terms as, he thinks best

and after paying my just debts and funeral expenses and the special legatees, named in this will then I direct him to  make an equal division of the residue of any
estate after the expenses is paid of the administration of my estate between my three sisters, namely; Reane Hudson, wife of F. M. Hudson, Elizabeth Lynn,
wife of M. E. Lynn and Amandy Lynn, wife of Jacob Lynn.
7th I appoint and nominate Dudley Baker, Jr. my executor this 15th August 1887.

This day came Dudley Baker, Jr, and offered for probate as the last will of Mary J. Holder, deceased a paper signed by her and dated August 14, 1887, which paper
was proved by the oaths of J. A. Carter and J. W. Carter, the subscribing witnesses thereto to have been subscribed by said decedent in their presence and that
said paper was acknowledged by said Mary J. Holder on the 15th day of August 1887 in the presence of both said J. A. and J. W. Carter to be her last will and
testament and that they the said J. A. and J. W. Carter subscribed said will with their names in the presence of said Mary J. Holder.  Whereupon is is ordered
that said paper be admitted to probate and recorded as the last will and testament of said Mary J. Holder, deceased, which is now done.
