I, Mary Cooney being sound in mind and body make this my last will and testament.
First, I desire that all my just debts be paid including my funeral expenses and a nice tombstone to be placed over my grave.
Second, I will and bequeath all of the residue of my property to my son, John C. McCauliffe of Louisville, Ky.
Third, I appoint John McCauliffe, my son Executor of this will and request that he shall not be required to execute a bond, September 6, 1882

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Mary Cooney, deceased was produced to court and offered for probate and was proven by

the oaths of Jno. W. Rodman and Chas. F. Exum the subscribing witnesses thereto. Whereupon it was ordered that said writing be recorded as
and for the last will of said decedent.
