Fully aware of the uncertainty of life, but trusting the mercy of God, I Leonidas D. Walker of the town of Frankfort and State of Kentucky do hereby make ordain and establish

this as my last will and testament.  
I hereby give devise and bequesth to my beloved wife Elizabeth C. Walker the whole of my property and estate of every description whatever be it real, personal or mixed for
and during her life.  The same at her death to be equally divided among my children.  I also appoint my said wife, Elizabeth C. Walker my executrix and do not wish the
Courts to require of her any surety as I have full faith in her prudence, discretion and integrity.  Done at St. Louis this 6th day of October 1865.

This will was signed by the tesator in our presence and declared by him to be his last will and testament.
State of Kentucky


At a County Court for the county of Franklin at the courthouse in the city of Frankfort on Monday the 5th day of September A.D. 1866
A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Leonidas D. Walker, deceased was produced in Court and was proved by the oaths of Samuel B. Churchill and Henry
Berry the subscribing witnesses thereto to have been subscribed by the testator in their presence and to have been acknowledged by him as his last will and testament in
their presence and to have been subscribed by them as witnesses thereto in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other.  Whereupon it is ordered that
said will be recorded as the last will and testament of said Leonidas D. Walker, deceased.  Whereupon the said will is truly recorded in my office.
