In the name of God amen. I John Yeatman of the county of Franklin and the State of Kentucky although infirm in body yet of sound and disposing mind memory and
understanding calling to mind the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, being desirous to settle my worldly affairs according to my own mind do
therefore make constitute ordain and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all others.

First it is my will and desire that all my lawful debts be paid by my Executors hereinafter named. Secondly I lent to my loving wife Lucy Yeatman for and during her
natural life the plantation whereon I now reside lying on the Kentucky River above Frankfort, containing thirty two acres be the same more or less also the following
negroes viz, John, Jim, Molley, Lucy, Edmund and Scott, together with all my hogs cows sheep, hogs, farming utensils household and kitchen furniture for her support
maintenance. But is is my will and desire that my wife should not sell or dispose of any of the said negroes or land.  Also I give and bequeath to my said wife Lucy
Yeatman one negro girl named Eveline to her, her heirs and assigns forever.  It is my will and desire that after the death of my said wife my children Thomas Yeatman,
John  Yeatman, Walker Yeatman, Preston Yeatman, Robinson Yeatman and Henry Yeatman do have receive and enjoy my plantation negroes and other property but
to her during life share and share alike equally between them and lastly I appoint my said wife Lucy Executrix and my son Thomas Executor of this my last will and
Testament.  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 14 day December 1822.
