In the name of God amen, I John Thompson of Franklin County and State of Kentucky being sound mind but afflicted in body and calling to mind the mortality
of man do make this my last will and testament, viz; I wish a sale made as soon as Possible after my death and all my debts be paid and one third of the
remaining monies and land to be left to my widow, including the dwelling house during her life and afterwards to be equally divided between my children with the
exception of Dorcas Miskell who is to receive none, the other two thirds of my remaining land and money I wish equally divided among my children as they
become of age (or if girls) marrys except Dorcas Miskell, who is to receive one dollar and no more upon the first division.  I wish also twenty barrels of corn
delivered to John Bond on order for which he holds my note as soon as possible.  The executors of this my last will and I believe my aging will I commit to
William Powel & my son Robert Thompson.  In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this 1st day of December in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred & twenty five.

A Writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John Thompson, decd. was produced in court and proved by the oaths of John S. Lillard and Wm. W.
Penny two of the subscribing Witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded which is done accordingly.
