146 In the name of God Amen I James O'Bannon of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being in weak and delicate health but of sound mind and disposing memory do make ordain and constitute my last will and testament. Item 1st I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Maria L. O'Bannon absolutely and unconditionally all the furniture which she had previous and which has been given her since our intermarriage. Consisting of two bureaus, one bedstead, bed and furniture, one sofa, one piano forte, one large mirror, chairs tables and other things not now recollected, also all other household and kitchen furniture she may desire to retain. Item 2nd I will and bequeath to my said wife during her natural life one half of a tract of land lying in Ballard County Kentucky containing about five hundred and forty acres. I also bequeath to my wife during her natural life one equal undivided interest in the four following negroes towit: Sally, Tom, Flora and Hannah.

3rd I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Frances M. O'Bannon the remaining
half in fee simple of the above described tract of land, and also bequeath
to her in fee

4th I give and bequeath of my beloved wife Maria L. O'Bannon seven hundred
dollars in cash. Item 5th After the payment of all debts I may legally owe
at the time of my

Philip Maurous and his wife Elizabeth Maurous Guardians for my infant child
