I, James Harp of the County of Franklin and Commonwealth of Kentucky, being of sound mind and disposing memory and calling to mind the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life so
make this my last will and testament in words following to wit:
First  I desire that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
2nd   After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, I will and bequeath to my beloved wife, Eliza Harp all my estate both real and personal during her natural life.
3rd.  After the death of my wife, I give to my son, John Harp, one hundred acres of land to included my dwelling house, during his natural life.  I f he should a child or children, then to his child

of children, but if he should die without heirs of his body, then to my legal heirs.
4th.  I also give to my son, John Harp, one hours, bridle and saddle and bridle, on bed and bedding
5th.  I desire after the death of my wife, all there remainder of my estate both real and personal, be equally divided between my legal heirs.
6th.  And lastly, I do hereby appoint my son-in-law George Gordon, Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revolking all other former, wills and testaments by me heretofore made.  

In lastly I do hereby.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28, 1867.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of James Harp, deceased was produced to Court and proven to be the oaths of E. S. Bailey and James M. Harp, the subscribing witnesses

thereto. Whereupon it was ordered that said will be recorded, which is done.
