In the name of God Amen, I, Joseph Duvall of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.
1st. After the payment of all my just debts and burial expenses I give and bequeath to my nephews, Edward Clarence and Laurence Anderson Went and my niece, June Went to be divided

equally between them all of my property real, personal and mixed of every description including my undivided interest inherited and purchased in the estate of my father the large Benjamin
P. Duvall.  In the event of the death of any to the above named devises, I desire the whole to be divided between the survivors or the surviving one.
2nd.  I hereby appoint my brother-in-law E. Clarence Went, Trustee to take in charge and manage the state for the benefit of my said nephew, Edward Clarence and Laurence Anderson

Went and the said niece Irene Went until they arrive at age or until my said niece, Irene, marries. I hereby direct the trustee above mentioned to set aside to her and her heirs her equal
portion of said bequest to have and hold the same forever.
3rd.  I hereby appoint my friend and brother-in-law E. Clarence Went to be my sole Executor.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 3rd. of January in the year of our

Lord Eighteen hundred and Seventy three.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Joseph P. Duvall, deceased was produced in Court and proven by the oath of James M.Withrow a subscribing witness thereto who also

proved the attestation of James W. Tate and B. F. Johnson the other subscribing witnesses. Whereupon it was ordered that said will be recorded, which is done.
