67 In the name of God Amen, it appointed for all men once to die and after death to go to judgement, I John Calton Dodd, being in perfect mind and memory do make this my last will and testament revolking all others. First, I bequeath my soul to almighty God, who gave it to me and body to the earth to be buried in a christian like manner as my executor shall see cause. Second, and as to my worldly estate, I wish and desire to dispose of it all as following to wit: First, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Louisa Dod all my goods, household furniture and my mare and colt, stock of cattle and hogs, plantation tools, etc. Second, I give and bequeath to my son, John Dod, Jr., five shillings to be his full portion of my estate. Also, I give to my son, William Dod fifty acres of said land I now live on. The said fifty acres is to begin on Bledsoe line and running to include the improvements and the balance of the land I leave to be divided among my children when they come of age. Thirdly, and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son, William Dod to be my sole Executor revolking all other wills. In witness whereof I have unto set my hand and affixed my seal this second day of July on thousand eight hundred and ten. John Dodd
