I, John Burchfield of the county of Franklin and state of Kentucky being of sound mind and body do hereby make this my last will and testament hereby revolking all former wills
made by me.
It is my will and desire that after my death my funeral expenses and just debts, if any, first be paid by me executors hereafter named. That my home farm will all the appurtenances
thereto belonging of every description be owned and enjoyed by my wife Elizabeth Burchfield during her natural life and that after her death it may be sold by my executors and the
proceeds divided equally between my children. It is my will that after my death my farm on which my son Henry now lives, purchased by me from Philip Swigert, Executor of
Joseph Gore, deceased, be sold by my executors and the proceeds of sale with all the cash on hand shall be divided equally between all my children.  I do hereby appoint my wife,
Elizabeth with my sons Henry and John Burchfield, my executrix and executors of my last will and that no security be required of them. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my
name, affixed my seal this 24th day of October, Eighteen hundred and sixty three.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John Burchfield, dec'd, was this day produced in Court and was proved by the oaths of John T. Steffe and H. B. Innes the
subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to record.  Which is truly done.
