In the Name of God amen I Joseph Anderson of Franklin County and State of Kentucky being of sound mind and in my proper sences do make this my last will and testament.
First I recommend my soul to god who gave it trusting in the merits of Jesus Christ only for the salvation of my soul and body, secondly my Body to be burried in a decent manner
and as to what worldly goods the Lord has blessed me with I bestow in the manner and form following.  
First, It is my will and desire that my loving wife Constant shall live on the plantation I now live on and have my horses and cattle sheep and hogs and all the farming tools that
belongs to me and to have all the household and kitchen furniture so long as she may live or if she should think proper to make a sale and sell as much of the property as she
may think best, and rent out the plantation as she may think best, and live on the rent and interest of the sale money, it is also my wish that my plantation & property may be
sold at my wifes death and the money arising from the sale to Equally divided amongst my children towit Elijah, Sally, Betsey, Elon, Presley, Rebeckah, Spencer, Melda and
John.  It is my will and desire that the four hundred dollars with interest from the date that is upon Jacob McClane living in the Indiana territory and one hundred thirty dollars Note
on Ast. Singear to be so divided as to make all the rest of the children equal with what I have to give my son Elijah and I have kep a book and sot down what I have gave to each
one if any over Elijah is to have his equal share if not enough, it is to be made up out of the sale of land it is my will each one shall be equal.  Also it is my wish that if anything
should begot from Spencer Peaks decesd. Estate be it what it may that it be equally divided between my before named children.  Also it is my will that if one or more of my
children shall die without issue that its or their share should equally divided amongst the survivors September the 7th 1820

the subscribing witness thereto which is ordered to be recorded.
