By the grace of God I George Smith of Franklin county being in my right mind do make and publish this my last will and testament hearby revoking all and every will
heartofore make by me in manner and form following. 
First that my just debts shall be paid.
Second I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth Smith fifteen shares of stock in the Bank of Kentucky together with a Green setee, half dozen widsor chairs
and half or such a part as she may want of my tables and cupboard furniture.  To be disposed of as she may think proper together with bed and bed furniture. To be
disposed of as she may think proper (Except silver spoons).
Third I give to my son George Smith forty five shares of stock in the Bank of Kentucky, one thousand dollars in cash, the Franklin mare, my silver watch and silver
spoons. To him and his heirs forever and father I give and bequeath unto my son George Smith an equal share in my property that shall be sold together with all my out
lands that remain unsold. To him and his heirs forever.
Fith It is my will that my Executors shall dispose of the Ballance of my property weather personal or mixed.
Sixth It is my wish that one hundred Dollars my be in cash may be paid to negro man Jack and fifty dollars in cast to Molly whom I set free some time past.
Seventh  It is my will that the Ballance of my estate shall be equallyt divided between the heirs of my deceased Daughters Mary Ann Forsee and Esther Martin
provided that one hundred Dollars be deducted Thos. L Bryan husband of Esther Forsee and one hundred Dollars to be deducted from James Forsee son of William
Forsee taxed Also six hundred Dollars to be deducted from William and James Martin son of James Martin decd. ded. three hundred dollars each.
Eight  I hearby appoint Jeptha Dudley, Joel Dupey, Benjamin Davis and William Forsee Sr. to this my will and testament.
Ninth  I appoint Benjamin Davis one of my exectors to have the care of and execution of my son George Smith until he arrives to the age of Twenty one years.
Tenth  I hearby appoint Jeptha Dudley and Joel Dupey (two of my said exectors) to execute a deed or deeds for any or all lands which have been or may hereafter
be sold so soon as the times or condition of said sale or sales have been compiled with the purchases or purchasers.
In testimony whereof I do hearby subscribe my name and affix my seal this eight day of January 1820.

Codicil
I George Smith in the foregoing or annexed last will and testament having further considered the same do think proper to make and publish the following codicil or
addition thereto imperius.  It is my will and desire that my negro mand Ceasar to be free on the eight day of January 1820. Secondly it is my desire that my negro man
Moses and my negro girl Araminta also to be free on the Eighth day of January 1820.
