41 In the name of God Amen, I, Edgecomb S. Slaughter, being in perfect health and memory, but calling to mind the mortality of man do constitute and appoint this my last will and testament in manner and form to wit: Item, I bequeath unto my beloved sister, Martha Slaughter, all my real and personal estate to her and her heirs forever. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto affixed my hand and seal this twenty first day of April, one thousand, seven hundred and ninety one. Edgecomb S. Slaughter
