I Elisha Hawkins Senr. Of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being at this of perfect mind & memory but calling to mind the morality of all living do hereby ordain
& establish this instrument of writing as my last will & Testament. In the first place I commend my soul into the hands of amighty God & my body to be decently buried
by my executors to be hereinafter names-- 2nd It is my will that the plantation & tract of land on which I now live as well as all or any other of my real estate as well as all my
slaves & their increase also all my personal Estate of every kind including money & notes & due me shall belong to William Hawkins (blackhead) who I raised & his heirs
forever. & all the property I received by my present wife at the time I married her shall return to her again.  3d I hereby appoint the said William Hawkins the executor of this
my last will & testament revolking all former wills, witness my hand & seal this 2and day of November 1824.

A writing purporting to be the last will & Testament of Elisha Hawkins decd.. Was produced in court & proven by Wm. H. Wright one of the subscribing witnesses thereto & Samuel
B. Crockett being sworn proved that the signature of Robert B. McAfee the other witness was the hand writing & Signature of said McAfee, whereupon it is ordered that the said will
be recorded, thereupon the same is duly admitted to record in my office.
