74 In the name of God amen, I, Elizabeth Ellis of the county of Franklin and State of Kentucky being of sound mind and memory, but feeble in health do make and ordain this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others. In the first place my will and desire is that all my just debts and my funeral expenses should be first paid in consideration of the natural love and affection which I bear towards my son Benjamin Ellis an in consideration of his having taken good care of me and attended to my business for the last ten or twelve years, I give and bequeath to him my negro man Sam, aged about twenty-five years of age. My negro boy Harry, aged about three years in October, next my bay Marc with his tow colts and two of my best feather beds and furniture complete and the balance of my property of evey kind I wish to equally divided among my other children as such as them as may be living at my death and lastly I appoint my said son Benjamin Ellis, executor of this my last will and testament not doubting , but that he will execute it faithfully.
