I, Christina Craik (Crank?) of Frankfort, Ky declare this to be my last will and testament as follows to wit:
I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
I give to my niece Christina McEwan my gold watch and fifty dollars in money; to my niece Mary Sharp McEwan all that set of teaspoons marked with the letters "MS"

and fifty dollars in money. The above are daughters of my brother William.
I give to my step daughter Jennie Craik the lot of ground with the inprovements thereon in South Frankfort, Ky known as the Leach Place, which lot fronts about 100 feet

on Shelby Street and runs back about 198 feet to an alley to be held by her as separate estate free from the use and control of any husband she may have, and free from
any liability for the debts of any such husband; and with power to dispose of said property by last will; I also give to her any personal property that may be left after the
payment of the debts and devises herein before provided for.
I give to my husband William Craik the lot of ground with the improvements thereon which is situated on the South West Corner of Shelby and Todd Streets in South

Frankfort, Ky known as the old McEwan homestead.
I appoint my husband William Craik executor of this my last will and request that the County Court will not require of him any bond or security for the performance of his

duties as executor. Witness my hand this 3rd day of Aug 1880.

Subscribed and acknowledged by Christina Craik in our presence and subscribed by us in her presence:

Monday, August 7th, 1893
A paper purporting to be the last will of Christina Craik, deceased dated August 3rd, 1880 was presented to court and the same was proved by W. C. Herndon one of the
subscribing witnesses to said will who also proved that the will was signed and acknowledged by said Christina Craik in presence of said Herndon and J. A. Murray the
other subscribing witness to said will and that said witnesses Herndon and Murray at request of said Christina Craik subscribed their names on August 3rd, 1880 as
witnesses to said will in the presence of said Christina and of each other and that said Christina was on said 3rd day of August 1880 when said the attesttion of J. A.
Murray to said will was made and the name J. A. Murray signed by said Murray on said 3rd day of August 1880 and thereupon said paper dated August 3rd. 1880 was
admitted to probate and ordered by the court.  To be recorded as and for the last will of said Christina Craik.  It appearing to the Court that the real estate declared by
said will was owned and held by said Christina Craik under and by a conveyance which authorized her to dispose of same by last will and William Craik husband of said
Christina appearing in open court and consenting to said probate and on motion of said William Craik the person named in said will as executor thereof he is hereby
appointed Executor of said will and he is permitted to execute bond without security as required in said will and thereupon said William Craik executed bond in compliance
with said order without security, which is approved by the Court.
