308 I, Christina Craik (Crank?) of Frankfort, Ky declare this to be my last will and testament as follows to wit: I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. I give to my niece Christina McEwan my gold watch and fifty dollars in money; to my niece Mary Sharp McEwan all that set of teaspoons marked with the letters "MS" and fifty dollars in money. The above are daughters of my brother William. I give to my step daughter Jennie Craik the lot of ground with the inprovements thereon in South Frankfort, Ky known as the Leach Place, which lot fronts about 100 feet on Shelby Street and runs back about 198 feet to an alley to be held by her as separate estate free from the use and control of any husband she may have, and free from any liability for the debts of any such husband; and with power to dispose of said property by last will; I also give to her any personal property that may be left after the payment of the debts and devises herein before provided for. I give to my husband William Craik the lot of ground with the improvements thereon which is situated on the South West Corner of Shelby and Todd Streets in South Frankfort, Ky known as the old McEwan homestead. I appoint my husband William Craik executor of this my last will and request that the County Court will not require of him any bond or security for the performance of his duties as executor. Witness my hand this 3rd day of Aug 1880. Christina Craik
